About Lithium DNS
Lithium DNS was built to provide Free and easy to use DNS hosting. Full featured, free, private DNS hosting, what more could you ask for?
When you add a domain to Lithium DNS, it's yours exclusively and you have full control over the records created for your domain.
Infrastructure:
Our DNS infrastructure is fault tolerant and uses advanced replication techniques to instantly transport all new changes between multiple geographically diverse servers. This includes both DNS Servers and our Web Servers. If one server is offline for any reason, you will still have access to manage your DNS and we'll still respond to DNS queries.
Records:
We currently support the following DNS Record types: A, AAAA, CNAME, HINFO, MX, NS, RP, SPF, SRV and TXT with plans to support additional record types including ALIAS and DS records as well as full IPv4 and IPv6 forward AND reverse (both .int and .arpa) zones.
Getting Started:
Using Lithium DNS couldn't be easier. Just add your domain as a new DNS Zone, set your domain's nameservers to ns1.lidns.net and ns2.lidns.net at your registrar / web host and you're ready to start adding records!
